The engine MIL (Malfunction Indicator Lamp) may be illuminated on the Instrument Panel Cluster with DTC (Diagnostic Trouble Code) P0234-77 stored in the Powertrain Control Module (PCM). DTC P2463-00 and P246B-00 may also be stored.

A customer may report one or more Body Control Module (BCM) outputs not functioning. Examples of these may include: Exterior lighting, Interior lighting, Sun roof blinds, Steering Wheel Adjust, Eco stop start etc... One or more of these symptoms may be accompanied by DTC U1000-00 (Solid State Driver Protection Active - Driver Disabled) present in the BCM. If DTC U1000-00 is not present in the BCM do not continue with this SSM. Continue to diagnose and repair the inoperative BCM output as necessary using Topix as a guide.

SOS Limited Functionality displayed on the Instrument Cluster (IC) and Multiple Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTC?s) may be stored in the Telematics Control Module (TCU). All or a combination of the following DTC?s may be present in the TCU: B1A56-11 - Antenna - Circuit short to ground (GSM antenna circuit short circuit to ground) B1A56-15 - Antenna - Circuit short to battery or open (GSM antenna circuit short circuit to power, open circuit, high resistance) B119F-01 - GPS Antenna - General electrical failure (Global positioning system antenna circuit short circuit to ground, short circuit to power) B119F-13 - GPS Antenna - Circuit open (Global positioning system antenna circuit open circuit, high resistance) SOS Limited Functionality may affect the TCU's ability to support the ECall function when required by the customer.

On vehicles installed with the high performance brake system (380mm diameter front brake disc), a 'squeal' noise may be heard from the front brakes during low-speed driving forward/backward, the 'squeal' can be heard also during moderate brake pedal application at low speeds, until the vehicle comes to a stop. The 'squeal' noise may resonate at frequencies of around 7kHz and 8kHZ.
