Updated September 30, 2026. This notice covers the current site features, including Google Analytics configured for the public domain. The public site is served from an owner-managed virtual server through Coolify.
Ordinary browsing.
The site has no account system or advertising code. Fonts, artwork and search data are served with the site. Checklists are not saved in browser storage.
Vehicle choices are used in your browser to find a dossier. Comparison choices can appear in the URL so the comparison can be reopened. Your browser may keep page and download history according to its own settings.
Google Analytics on the public domain.
Recallfolio is configured to use Google Analytics 4 on the HTTPS versions of recallfolio.com and www.recallfolio.com to understand which pages visitors use and how they reach the site. Google Analytics is disabled on local previews, staging domains and pages marked noindex.
When enabled on the public domain, Google Analytics can collect browsing events, page information, referral information and browser/device information. It uses first-party cookies such as _ga and _ga_* to distinguish browsers and sessions. Google documents a default cookie expiration of two years, which can be renewed with visits. The local preview does not load the Google tag or set these analytics cookies.
The initial page-view configuration omits URL query strings and fragments. Google Signals and advertising personalization signals are disabled in our tag configuration. We do not configure a user ID or send contact emails, VINs or private vehicle documents as analytics events.
Google processes analytics information under its own privacy practices. Read Google’s privacy policy and its Analytics cookie documentation. You can block analytics with your browser controls or a tracking blocker; Google also provides an Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
Email inquiries and corrections.
The contact page links to hello@recallfolio.com. Opening an email link launches your email application; the site itself does not submit a message or collect form responses.
If you send an email, your email address, message and any attachments are handled by the email services involved and can be accessed by the Recallfolio operator to respond or investigate a correction. Please include public page and source references rather than private vehicle documents or a VIN.
Correction details may inform changes to the site. Contact messages are not automatically published. You can email the same address with a privacy question or to request deletion of a message.
External links.
Links to NHTSA, manufacturers or other external resources take you to separate services with their own privacy practices. The site does not transmit a VIN to them; any VIN lookup happens on the service you choose to open.
Public hosting.
The public site uses a dedicated static NGINX container on an owner-managed virtual server, with HTTPS handled by the Coolify proxy. These systems process connection information, including IP addresses and requested URLs, to deliver pages. Routine access logging is disabled in our site container and is not enabled in the current proxy configuration. Operational error logs can contain request or connection information when a problem occurs; the site container limits these logs to two files of up to 5 MB each. Infrastructure administrators can access operational logs. This notice will be updated if hosting or logging practices change.
