Transmission Kit with Torque Converter 1. All Promaster (VF) 3.6L/62TE equipped vehicles. If the transmission bracket to the transmission case fasteners are removed during servicing, the fasteners (Part Number 06511385A$) are one-time usage. Vehicles built prior to 10/23/2015 requires Service Kit PN 68461214AA; includes Transmission Isolator PN 68264483AA, and Adaptation Bracket 68264479AA and Fastener Service Kit PN 68329056AA Vehicles built after on or after 10/23/2015 will require only the Fastener Service Kit PN 68329056AA. 2. All 3.6L/62TE equipped vehicles. If the vehicle you are repairing has a crack in the flex plate or failed pump bushing inspect and confirm that both (2) dowel pins are present in the engine block, which align the transmission center line to the crank shaft centerline and visually inspect the dowel alignment holes in the transmission case. If the holes are damaged or elongated the transmission should be replaced to prevent further damage to the transmission/flexplate or pump bushing due to the inability to properly align the engine to the transmission during the repair. 3. All 62TE equipped vehicles. If pump bushing is scored or damaged and the dowel pin alignment holes are ok, replace the pump assembly as opposed to complete transmission. 4. All 62TE equipped vehicles. If vehicle is jerking/slipping with MIL code(s) P0740 or P2764, check TCC Solenoid operation. If TCC Solenoid is ok, the codes are indicative of a torque converter failure. Replace the torque converter.

ADAPTER, Engine Oil Filter (Pentastar V6) All vehicles equipped with a 3.2L or 3.6L except for model year 2014 vehicles with leak concern: 1) Ensure the Oil Filter Adapter (OFA) Cap O-ring is seated in the proper groove in the cap and not damaged or cut. 2) If replacing the (OFA) due to a leak detected between (OFA) and block. Ensure the torque on the 5 bolts are torqued to 12nm. If not record the actual values, torque to 12nm and contact the FCA employees listed below. 3) Remove the (OFA) and replace the O-ring and gaskets only (Kit #68191356A$), NOT THE OFA. 4) If oil was drained, add oil dye to ensure the leak is repaired. For model year 2014 vehicles replace the Oil Filter Adaptor. 5) When replacing PN's 68310865A$ & 68308741A$, it may be necessary to transfer the Oil Temp/Pressure Sensor from the old OFA to the new OFA.

RADIO, MULTI Media For RA3 and RA4 8.4? radio concern of reoccurring update request pop-up on each key cycle after a radio FOTA (Firmware Update Over the Air) has been completed, please DO NOT replace the radio. To recover the radio, 12v power needs to be disconnect from the radio to clear radio memory either by removal of the radio fuse or preforming a battery disconnect. Note: Fuse removal is the preferred method. The radio needs to be disconnected from power long enough to clear memory and discharge the Capacitance within the radio. Please refer to the latest in diagnostics for further information.

Shifter - Automatic Transmission If a 2015 - 18MY KL ONLY is brought in with a ?Service Shifter? message on the cluster and/or the following DTCs are present indicating loss of communication with the shifter: U0103, U0103-87. Prior to beginning any repair, please call John Zbranchik at 248-576-0756 or Pablo Flores at 248-576-3972. If no reply contact Dil Weerasinha at 248-944-5967 or Jay Nagle 248-576-5657. If you are unable to contact any of the above, and all the DTCs related to loss of comm are STORED, first perform a vehicle scan with a wiTECH tool or similar and email the log to john.zbranchik@fcagroup.com and pablo.flores1@fcagroup.com. Ensure all stored DTCs in the vehicle are recorded in the log. Use the tool to clear all codes and ensure the ?Service Shifter? message does not return. If this is the first occurrence of this issue on this vehicle, do NOT replace the shifter at this time. If any DTCs related to loss of comm with the shifter are ACTIVE, a full bus log is highly desired. Please contact a regional tech representative to acquire this log. After the log is acquired, or if this is not feasible, check for loose/bent pins, spread terminals on both the male pin cavity in the shifter and the female connector from the body harness take out and all grounds. If no issues are found, replace the shifter and return it to the Quality Engineering Center (QEC).

The VECI label is often used during in-use Inspection and Maintenance (I/M) testing to verify proper emissions related components. A small number of customers may experience one or more of the following:Navigation failed message is displayed (WK and KL with RG3 and RG4). The clock not automatically updating to local time (WK and KL with RG3 and RG4). Poor or no connection to cellular network (WK and KL with RG3 and RG4). HVAC temperature out of sync with radio display (KL with RG3 and RG4). Some Uconnect App remote commands do not execute with the vehicle. Display goes blank/black (WK and KL with RG3 and RG4). Cyrillic keyboard is missing in phone book (WK and KL with RG3 or RG4). Wrong speed limit on NAV speed camera indication (WK and KL with RG3 or RG4). Blind Spot module beep or chime sound may be heard continuously (KL Only). Radio may keep the CAN bus network awake, causing a battery drain. Washer Fluid Level Sensor Prior to replacing this part due to "Low Washer Fluid" tell tale light on the dash and the washer fluid bottle is full, please perform this inspection: Check if float sensor is rotated off location from the bottle anti-rotation features that surround the SENSOR.
