Transmission Kit with Torque Converter 1. All Promaster (VF) 3.6L/62TE equipped vehicles. If the transmission bracket to the transmission case fasteners are removed during servicing, the fasteners (Part Number 06511385A$) are one-time usage. Vehicles built prior to 10/23/2015 requires Service Kit PN 68461214AA; includes Transmission Isolator PN 68264483AA, and Adaptation Bracket 68264479AA and Fastener Service Kit PN 68329056AA Vehicles built after on or after 10/23/2015 will require only the Fastener Service Kit PN 68329056AA. 2. All 3.6L/62TE equipped vehicles. If the vehicle you are repairing has a crack in the flex plate or failed pump bushing inspect and confirm that both (2) dowel pins are present in the engine block, which align the transmission center line to the crank shaft centerline and visually inspect the dowel alignment holes in the transmission case. If the holes are damaged or elongated the transmission should be replaced to prevent further damage to the transmission/flexplate or pump bushing due to the inability to properly align the engine to the transmission during the repair. 3. All 62TE equipped vehicles. If pump bushing is scored or damaged and the dowel pin alignment holes are ok, replace the pump assembly as opposed to complete transmission. 4. All 62TE equipped vehicles. If vehicle is jerking/slipping with MIL code(s) P0740 or P2764, check TCC Solenoid operation. If TCC Solenoid is ok, the codes are indicative of a torque converter failure. Replace the torque converter.

ADAPTER, Engine Oil Filter (Pentastar V6) All vehicles equipped with a 3.2L or 3.6L except for model year 2014 vehicles with leak concern: 1) Ensure the Oil Filter Adapter (OFA) Cap O-ring is seated in the proper groove in the cap and not damaged or cut. 2) If replacing the (OFA) due to a leak detected between (OFA) and block. Ensure the torque on the 5 bolts are torqued to 12nm. If not record the actual values, torque to 12nm and contact the FCA employees listed below. 3) Remove the (OFA) and replace the O-ring and gaskets only (Kit #68191356A$), NOT THE OFA. 4) If oil was drained, add oil dye to ensure the leak is repaired. For model year 2014 vehicles replace the Oil Filter Adaptor. 5) When replacing PN's 68310865A$ & 68308741A$, it may be necessary to transfer the Oil Temp/Pressure Sensor from the old OFA to the new OFA.

Flash: Powertrain Control Module (PCM) Updates This bulletin involves reprogramming the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) with the latest available software. Customers may experience a Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) illumination. Upon further investigation the technician may find that the following DTCs have been set:P04FC - Crankcase Ventilation System Performance. P152F - Engine Hood Switch 2 / Engine Hood Switch 1 Correlation(EMEA only equipped with Gas Particulate Filter (GPF))(DTC will set when driving above 72 kph (45 mph). P0456 - EVAP System Small Leak.If DTC P0456 is present use the wiTECH Small Leak Verification test (SLVT) to determine if a leak is present in the system. P050B - Cold Start Ignition Timing Performance. P258B - Electric Vacuum Pump Performance. C1252-92 - Vacuum Pump Control Circuit - Performance Or Incorrect Operation. P2B95 - Cold Start Injection Pulse Performance. P062A - Fuel Pump Control Performance. P058C - Battery Monitor Module Temperature Monitoring Performance. P0607 - ECU Internal Performance. Injector performance faults for cylinders 2 - 4 map to DTC for incorrect cylinders. In addition the following software enhancement are included:Software corrects an issue with the wrong cylinder identification if an injector circuit performance fault is set in the PCM:If any of the series of injector control circuit faults are set, please refer to the bullet-pointed list below to determine which injector to address. For reference, the correct injector circuit performance faults are listed below:P02EE - Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Performance. P02EF - Cylinder 2 Injector Circuit Performance. P02F0 - Cylinder 3 Injector Circuit Performance. P02F1 - Cylinder 4 Injector Circuit Performance. Customers may also experience the following condition:Audible noise from the Low Temperature Radiator (LTR) coolant pump, at low speeds. Abnormal noise from the radiator cooling fan. LTR runs too long after the engine is turned off.
