Fuel trims around -20% may be observed on both banks. Engine oil level will be found over full and have a fuel odor. It will be found that the Engine oil is diluted with fuel. Small gas engines (SGE) May only have the engine oil level over full and have a fuel odor. It will be found that the Engine oil is diluted with fuel. This concern is caused by marshalling the vehicle around the lot before it is sold and/or short driver cycles.

These vehicles were built with different software that doesn't allow the DRL's or Auto headlamp to be shut off. Canada law prohibits disabling daytime running lamps (DRL's) or auto headlamps.

There will be NO warning lights or messages displayed on the IPC/DIC. The GM Accessory Performance Brake Pads do not utilize the brake pad wear sensor. None. These DTC(s) do not cause any warning lights or messages to be displayed in the IPC/DIC. Per the GM Accessory Performance Brake installation instructions, the brake pad sensor connector should be capped with the supplied cap and the brake pad life system disabled in the DIC.

Technician will inspect and clean the ground wire (normally white wire) connection on the trailer side of the 7-pin connector. Inspect that the wires inside the trailer side connector are clean and securely fastened. If the vehicle?s 7-way connector socket terminals are deformed or have excessive wear, it will be necessary to replace the truck side connector with part number 23404450.

Certain 2019 Cadillac CT6 equipped with engine RPO?s LSY or LTA, Chevrolet Silverado 1500 (New Model), and GMC Sierra 1500 (New Model) vehicles have a condition where the brake system control module (BSCM) may cause a service brake assist message to appear on the driver?s information center (DIC), and a service engine soon light to illuminate on the dashboard. This may cause the brake pedal feel to be different. The pedal travel will increase for normal/light braking applies. This is caused by a software issue where the motor position sensors do not correlate. Dealers will reflash the BSCM with updated software.
