If the incorrect bracket was installed, the underhood-electrical center generator-bus bar could contact the left-front shock tower during a crash, or contact a tool when the vehicle is being serviced. Such contact could cause a short circuit in the underhood-electrical center, which could disable certain interior courtesy lamps.
