16037 Service Update. If the seat is lowered to the lowest position, certain wiring harness routing may allow the seat harness to be pinched between the seat recliner gear mechanism and the rear height adjuster link. Individual circuits in the seat harness, including the side air bag deployment loop, ventilation function and lumbar support may be damaged. Dealers are to check the front seat harness routing and wrap the excess harness with a tie strap. If there is any evidence of wiring harness damage, replace the seat harness.

16067 Service Update. Certain vehicles may have been built with two incorrect bolts for the attachment of the right hand strut to the body shock tower. The incorrect bolts are longer than the correct bolts and may contact the Ecoat and Shot Peening layers of the spring which could allow localized spring corrosion and may impact life expectancy. Dealers are to follow the service procedure and replace the two incorrect bolts as required.

Technician will need to verify that the active noise cancellation fuse is good, terminal tension has proper tension, and all connectors are seated properly. Technician should play any audio source and ensure that all speakers are working by using the fade and balance settings. Technician should gain access to the 3 active noise cancellation microphones and test terminal tension, resistance, and mounting. Also verify that there are no mechanical issues with the vehicle. If no concerns were found during testing unplug the X3 connector at the active noise cancellation module until General Motors has provided a solution for this concern.
