Tech Tips (with 1K0 Part Number J500 ? Replacement Steering Harness): If the steering rack is replaced on the above models for any reason, it is necessary to replace the steering harness as well. The new harness may be equipped with an extra connector. If all connections are made correctly, then it is necessary to remove that connector and tape the exposed wires back into the harness. Be sure to tape tightly in order to provide a water-tight repair.

The streaming music feature on vehicles equipped with factory or dealer installed Bluetooth will be available only in certain instances. The vehicle must be equipped with the RCD 310 or RCD 510 (Premium 8) radios or the RNS 510 or RNS 315 navigation systems.
