Some customers may experience a Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) illumination. Upon further investigation the technician may find Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) P1239 - Engine Oil Temperature Too Low. Vehicle System Interface Module Unresponsive This bulletin involves reprogramming the Vehicle System Interface Module (VSIM) with the latest available software. Customers may notice uplift components connected to the VSIM inoperative at times. This is caused by a condition where as the VSIM locks up and becomes unresponsive. No DTCs will be reported for loss of communication between the VSIM and Central Body Controller (CBC). This can be corrected by updating the VSIM with the latest available software. SYMPTOM ONLY FOR 2013 DD AND DP with Power Take Off Prep (Sales Code LBN) Customers may experience after 30 minutes of operation the PTO may shut off. The PTO will start working again after the ignition is cycled.

Unable To Register With Uconnect This bulletin involves retrieving MDN and MEID numbers from the radio. Creating a Star case and recording the MDN and MEID with in the Star Case. The Star center will reply back with an access code that will need to be entered into the radio. The customer may notice that their Uconnect Apps do not work and they can?t register with Uconnect.

2014 KL 9-Speed service transaxle with 2015 common hardware This 9-speed transaxle must be ordered thru Mopar?s Powertrain Service Center (PSC) for a specific VIN and must be installed in that vehicle or the correct calibration will not load to the Engine Control Module (ECM) and Transmission Control Module (TCM).~ This 9-speed transaxle assembly requires an update to the Engine Control Module AND the Transmission Control Module using WiTech. Failure to complete both updates will result in possible damage and/or incorrect operation of this unit.

RA3/RA4 Radio The MY16 RA3/4 radios are susceptible to randomly set an erroneously BCM or IPC ?U0184 - Loss of Com with Radio? fault. The radio should not be replaced for this issue if the fault is stored, if the code cannot be reproduced and no trouble can be found (radio functions properly). In this case it is no impact to the customer in any way. Do NOT replace the radio for this issue.
