This Preliminary information communicates A vehicle may have a concern of running poor and stalling. No trouble codes may be set referencing this condition. Fuel trims around -20% may be observed on both banks. Engine oil level will be found over full and have a fuel odor. It will be found that the Engine oil is diluted with fuel. Small gas engines (SGE) May only have the engine oil level over full and have a fuel odor. It will be found that the Engine oil is diluted with fuel. This concern is caused by marshalling the vehicle around the lot before it is sold and/or short driver cycles.

Service Update - Certain vehicles may have a condition where the customer may be able to shift out of park with an expired latent fault mode counter. This will only occur after the customer ignores multiple driver information center (DIC) and chime warnings. By design, the vehicle should not allow the driver to shift out of park once the latent fault mode counter expires. Dealers are to reprogram the engine control module.

N192285670 - SUB - Certain 2020 model year Chevrolet Equinox and GMC Terrain vehicles may have an electronic brake control module (EBCM) that could set diagnostic trouble codes U0125 or U0151. If this happens, the driver's information center (DIC) will display "Service ESC", "Service Stabilitrak" or "Service Parking Brake". The function of ESC/Stabilitrak/Park Brake will be compromised. It may clear in a subsequent key cycle (requires an EBCM power cycle). Dealers will reprogram the EBCM.
