Fuel trims around -20% may be observed on both banks. Engine oil level will be found over full and have a fuel odor. It will be found that the Engine oil is diluted with fuel. Small gas engines (SGE) May only have the engine oil level over full and have a fuel odor. It will be found that the Engine oil is diluted with fuel. This concern is caused by marshalling the vehicle around the lot before it is sold and/or short driver cycles.

The ongoing Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic has caused significant reductions in driving and fuel use. Due to the surplus of winter grade fuel sitting in storage (pipelines/stations) the EPA is waiving the fuel vapor requirement. This will extend the use of winter fuel into the summer months. The drivability concerns should not be single events but should be multiple occurrences associated with hot days.

Emission - General Motors has decided to conduct a voluntary emissions recall involving certain 2016-2019 model year diesel engine vehicles. The engine control module (ECM) in these vehicles may not adequately diagnose or illuminate the malfunction indicator lamp (Check Engine Light) when frequent regeneration of the diesel particulate filter (DPF) occurs. Dealers are to program the engine control module (ECM) with corrected software.
