Technician will need to use a scan tool to check for Diagnostic Trouble Codes in the Instrument Panel Cluster. If Diagnostic Trouble Code B0158 outside air temperature display malfunction is set check that the outside ambient temperature sensor is connected. If the sensor is connected, check the integrity of circuits 61 and 636 from sensor to the Instrument Panel Cluster or diagnose B0158 per published Service Information.

This Preliminary Information communication provides information to the technician about the text messaging feature on some newer General Motors infotainment systems. Pair the iPhone to the system then enter the Bluetooth settings menu, select the ?i? icon next to the vehicle name in the device and enable show notifications. The text messaging feature will be available on the next ignition cycle. However with iPhones text messages cannot be responded to when using the infotainment system, they can only be received. For android devices pair the phone to the system during the pairing process the phone will ask you to allow the vehicle to access the device contacts. A second question will pop up on the device asking to allow the vehicle to access the message access profile. Both have to be allowed for the text messaging feature to work.

Special Coverage. Some vehicles equipped with a 2.0L turbo engine, may have a condition where a wire within the exhaust camshaft position actuator solenoid valve may break. If this were to occur, the Malfunction Indicator Lamp would illuminate, and a diagnostic trouble code DTC P0013 (Exhaust Camshaft Position Actuator Solenoid Valve Control Circuit) would set. The driver may experience rough engine idling or reduced engine torque/power. Dealers are to replace the exhaust camshaft position actuator solenoid valve as necessary. The repairs will be made at no charge to the customer.
