TSB: REVISION NOTICE February 12, 2018 Rev2: ? Applicability has been updated to include 2015 ? 2018 model year vehicles. January 23, 2014 Rev1: ? Applicability has been updated to include 2013 ? 2014 model year vehicles. Any previous printed versions of this bulletin should be discarded. Toyota vehicles are equipped with either conventional or run-flat tires. Sometimes punctures may occur as a result of contact with road debris or other hazards. If a puncture occurs, it may be possible to repair the tire and return it to service. With a conventional tire it is not possible to drive for an extended amount of time with the tire at low pressures as damage to the tire may occur. With run-flat tires, due to reinforced sidewalls, it is possible to drive for up to 100 miles at speeds less than 55 mph with little or no damage to the tire. The U.S. Tire Manufacturers Association (UTSMA) provides guidelines and recommendations for tire repair and replacement. It also provides information related to: ? Basic tire information ? TSB: REVISION NOTICE November 22, 2017 Rev1: ? Applicability has been updated to include 2014 ? 2018 model year vehicles. Any previous printed versions of this bulletin should be discarded. In the event that a Toyota vehicle becomes submerged in water, many components may be physically damaged. Electrical and electronic components, including wiring harnesses, are particularly susceptible to corrosion and subsequent malfunction. Although any flooding can be damaging, salt water flooding elevates the potential for abnormal conditions and may increase risks due to its highly corrosive and conductive nature. Salt residue also continues to corrode and remain conductive even after a vehicle dries. This bulletin is intended to assist with safe handling and inspection of flood damaged vehicles and to provide basic guidance on likely needed repairs.

TI: Background-In the subject vehicles the front catalytic converter internal components may become deteriorated and begin to rattle. If continually operated in this condition, the deteriorated components could become dislodged and restrict the exhaust flow. If this occurs, the vehicle may illuminate a check engine light, and, depending on the level of exhaust restriction, the vehicle may experience a reduction in power. Toyota has developed a new exhaust pipe with catalytic converters to prevent this condition from occurring.
