PUMP, Vacuum For DTC Code P258B - ELECTRONIC VACUUM PUMP PERFORMANCE. Due to brake vacuum pumps returned with trouble not found, please follow the proper diagnostics outline in the service library this also includes checking all electrical and vacuum hose connections prior to replacement of the vacuum pump. Upon further investigation the technician may find that one or more of the following Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) have been set: ? P1404 - EGR Close Position Performance. ? P0456 - EVAP System Small Leak. NOTE: If DTC P0456 is present use the wiTECH Small Leak Verification test (SLVT) to determine if a leak is present in the system. In addition, the customer may notice one or more of the following conditions: ? **Power Take Off (PTO) disable to high engine oil temperature (DD DP Only).** ?
