1. General Parts Update The recommended air filter for 2019 Model Year (MY) and newer 6.7L Cummins equipped vehicles has been updated. New Part: 68645327AA (Non-Oiled Air Filter) Replaces: 53034051AA (Oiled Air Filter) - This part is superseded and should no longer be installed. The air filter for all other applications remains unchanged: Continue to use 68517554AA for: All 2018 MY and older 6.7L Cummins equipped vehicles. All 2019 MY and newer vehicles with non-6.7L engines. 2. Special Service Procedure for DTC P0299 Application: 2019-2024 MY HD Trucks with 6.7L Diesel (ETM/ETN) Condition: If DTC P0299 is active and the vehicle is equipped with the previous oiled air filter (PN# 53034051AA). Procedure: Replace the oiled air filter (53034051AA) with the new non-oiled filter (68645327AA). Service Catalog reflects these updated usages.

On Cummins diesel applications that are for 2019 and newer the bpro part 1BP00507AB can on occasions create a check engine light. In these situations, it is recommended to use the appropriate Mopar air filter (57008652AA). The "AC" level of the part is in development to resolve this issue. 1BP00507AB should still be usable for 2018 and older Model year Cummins engines.

"MODULE Transfer Case Control If DTC C2112 is set in the DTCM module refer to complete diagnostics in Service Library, it has been seen this is primarily caused by a wiring issue. Please inspect all wiring, wiring connections and drive the vehicle in the conditions that set this fault according to the environmental data. Conduct the following test drive to recreate the condition to get the DTC to go active, - Shift from 2WD to 4HI (drive > 2 mins) - Shift from 4HI to 4LO (drive > 2 mins) - Shift from 4LO to 4HI (drive > 2 mins) - Shift from 4HI to 2WD (drive > 2 mins) Note: Inspect and confirm no corrosion present at the FAD connector If DTCM is still suspected to be at fault proceed with repair."

Rear Axle Locker Inoperative, Service Axle Locker Message Displayed. Discussion: Some customers may experience a, inop rear axle locker, and Service Axle Locker message. After further investigation, the technician may not find any diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) set. However, intermittently, they may find the following DTCs set in the Drivetrain Control Module (DTCM). • C141C-11 Rear Differential Control Circuit Short To Ground. • C141C-13 Rear Differential Control Circuit Open. If the technician is working on a vehicle with the above condition, please perform the repair procedure below. Repair Procedure: 1. Remove the rear differential cover. 2. Inspect the e-locker actuator wiring harness for damage due to contact with the differential.

"ADJUSTER Seat DJ D2 DP 1st Row Power Seat Fore/Aft Adjuster Inspection TSB is also released for this concern. SYMPTOM/CONDITION: Fore-aft function does NOT work when actuating the seat switch. DIAGNOSIS: 1) Put seat in position for inspection. 2) Disconnect seat wire harness motor connector from the fore-aft motor on the seat adjuster, wait 10 seconds, and reconnect. 3) Verify function of the fore/aft adjuster. Step 1. Open 2nd row door and function rear seat cushions up to stowed position. Step 2. Adjust the driver front seat to the full up position. Use switches on the side shield to move power seat fully up. Step 3. Remove the 4 bolts that hold the seat to the truck floor and discard. The bolts have lock patch that is not reusable. Step 4. Lay the seat down so its laying on its back so the underside of the seat is easily accessible. Step 5. Remove the fore/aft wire harness motor connector from the fore/aft motor (back right of the seat adjuster). Push on the tab to remove the motor wire harness connector from the motor. Leave disconnected for 10 seconds. Step 6. Reconnect the fore/aft wire harness motor connector to the fore/aft motor. Push / Pull / Push the connector with fingers to ensure the wire harness connector is fully seated to the fore/aft motor connector. Step 7. Before assembling the seat back to the truck floor, cycle the seat to check that the motor is working properly by pressing the fore/aft switch. If fore/aft motor does not function, please refer to Replacement Procedure below. Step 8. If the seat is working properly, carefully reassemble the seat back to the truck floor using the four new bolts. Use a torque wrench to verify 47 Nm. Step 9. *Note: Checking the passenger seat will be the same procedure as the driver seat. REPLACEMENT PROCEDURE Only for seats rejected after inspection. Replace Power Seat Adjuster per MOPAR service part replacement instructions. MOPAR Part Numbers: 68455847AA, 68455848AA, 68455849AA"

SWITCH AND BEZEL Front Door Before replacing the Window Switch/Mirror Switch, please follow these steps: 1.- Check for what DTC are detected and take proper steps acceding to the DTC's. 2.- Make sure all the switches are properly connected to their harness, disconnect the switch and reconnect it. 3.- Review the window Switch for any physical issue (Button stuck, broken) If after performing these steps the switch remains faulty. TRANSFER CASE BW 44-46 If fluid leak is present between the transfer case and the rear driveshaft on a 4WD vehicle the Output Shaft Seal should be considered in lieu of entire transfer case or driveshaft replacement. SWITCH Headlamp Before replacing the Headlamp Switch for faulty dimmer operation. Please follow the next steps to corroborate if the Headlamp Switch is malfunctioning: 1.- Please disconnect and reconnect the headlamp Switch. And verify if the issue is corrected. 2.- Review the internal resistance of the switch: a.- For the Right Dimmer (IP) between Pins 6 & 3. The value should be around 5.74 KOhms, when in the lowest position to 311 ohms in the top position (Parade Detent). b.- For the left Dimmer (Ambient Light) between pins 8 & 3. The value should be around 14.52 KOhms, when in the lowest position to 182 ohms in the top position. If a problem is found in the resistor values. Please replace the Switch.
