ROCKER ARM ASSY - ROLLER ROCKER Case 1.- Before replacing the intake or exhaust rocker arms due to an abnormal ticking noise, please check that the INTAKE Hydraulic Lash Adjusters are not "collapsed". If a collapsed INTAKE HLA is found, replace all INTAKE HLAs on the suspect cylinder head (no need to replace rocker arms). The noise can occur at low or high RPMs, and at low or high temperatures. Duct Assy Charge Air Cooler In If the seal is missing from inside a Henn connector, please search for the missing seal. It could have been pulled out while removal of the hose from the spigot if it was partially stuck to the spigot. It could have been blown into the hose or CAC. If that is the only concern with the CAC Hose Assembly, then replace the seal with a new replacement seal instead of replacing the entire hose assembly.

3.5 INCH - SPEAKER ASSY P2 Before ordering a speaker part for crackles or rattling noises make sure to take the following steps: 1. Check for electrical harness routing too close to speaker's rear moving parts, improper connection, and/or harness pinch or damage. 2. Ensure no loose components, including trim grilles, fasteners, surrounding IP parts, etc. were found when removing the speaker. 3. Try "bad" speaker at another IP location and see if noise follows speaker. Try a different "good" speaker at "bad speaker location" and see if noise still happens at "bad" location. If even with this verification and adjustments the speaker sounds bad, test the individual speaker with the audio files provided in the Service Library Homepage under "Reference Materials" prior to replacement

For any other MY review and follow instructions from the latest STAR Online S1809000007 available on Dealer Connect. Also, consider the following: 1) Remove OFA 2) Replace only the oil inlet O-ring and gaskets (seals kit in SOL above). 3) Re-install the OFA. For 2023MY and beyond use black O-ring. ADAPTER, Engine Oil Filter (Pentastar V6) For all 2014MY replace the Oil Filter Adapter (OFA). For any other MY review and follow instructions from the latest STAR Online S1809000007 available on Dealer Connect. Also, consider the following: 1) Remove OFA 2) Replace only the oil inlet O-ring and gaskets (seals kit in SOL above). 3) Re-install the OFA. For 2023MY and beyond use black O-ring. For 2022MY and prior use red O-ring. Note: When replacing OFA, it may be necessary to transfer the Oil Temp/Pressure Sensor from the old OFA to the new OFA.
