Customers may experience a Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) illumination. Upon further investigation the technician may find the following Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) has been set:P0238-00 - Positive Boost Pressure Governor Deviation Low Pressure Signal Calculation Failure. Customer may also notice:Erratic engine idle. Premature alternator pulley failure. Other software enhancements include:Improvement to avoid soot formation in the intake system that can cause engine speed oscillation at idle. Improvement to the alternator strategy to prevent alternator pulley failure.

Customers may experience a Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) illumination. Upon further investigation the technician may find that one or more of the following DTCs have been set: P050B - Cold Start Ignition Timing Performance. P0456 - EVAP System Small Leak.If DTC P0456 is present use the wiTECH Small Leak Verification test (SLVT) to determine if a leak is present in the system. Customers or technicians may experience the following:Vehicle will intermittently not start(South Korea Only). Poor fuel economy. Intermittently stalls at idle. Slight pinging noise while accelerating, and poor performance. Unable to see the model year of the vehicle through the On Board Diagnostic (OBD).

SEAL, Input If looking to replace stubshaft due to ATX fluid leaking, do not replace PTU seals. None of the seals from the PTU side will need to be replaced whenever the ATX stubshaft is replaced, even though V-seal (68408748A$) is in direct contact with the stubshaft, it will not avoid grease/oil leakage from transmission side. PTU V-seals are intended to act as a dust cover for stubshaft - PTU input shaft spline interface. PTU Input shaft seal (68408749A$) is intended to hold PTU oil and debris ingress; it should be replaced only if the fluid leakage is confirmed to be PTU oil and not ATX trans. fluid.

Flash: Powertrain Control Module (PCM) Updates This bulletin involves reprogramming the PCM with the latest available software. Some customers may experience the following condition:When pressing the SPORT button on the console, the SPORT mode is not activated. Hard to start condition at low temperatures 10-15°C (50-60°F) and filled with 70~80% ethanol fuel (DF7 Transmission Sales Code only). Engine experiencing a hard re-start after being shut off for short periods of time. Engine Stop/Start (ESS) remains in stop condition and they must manually restart the engine due to either a door or the hood being opened while in ESS mode.
