Air Suspension Components Star Parts Catalog has been updated to show individual service parts for the compressor assembly. This will allow service technicians to repair the root cause without over repairing the system. Replace only the part deemed failed by the diagnostics performed. LATCH, Hood For the following concerns, please verify secondary plunger switch before replacing hood latch with primary switch. Please refer to service information for complete diagnostics of the secondary plunger switch which is located in the left front under hood on RU, MP, and WK/WD and left rear under hood on KL. 1) Electronic Stop Start Message on Cluster or DTC P152F without hood ajar illuminated. 2) KL Hood ajar light is on or unlatched hood due to high closing effort. (KL hood may have a higher closing effort to latch the hood as rubber bumper interference is set purposely high to prevent hood flutter at highway speeds) If stop start message or DTC P152F is present on vehicles without a hood ajar light illuminated, the issue is not related to the primary hood latch switch.

RADIO, MULTI Media For RA3 and RA4 8.4? radio concern of reoccurring update request pop-up on each key cycle after a radio FOTA (Firmware Update Over the Air) has been completed, please DO NOT replace the radio. To recover the radio, 12v power needs to be disconnect from the radio to clear radio memory either by removal of the radio fuse or preforming a battery disconnect. Note: Fuse removal is the preferred method. The radio needs to be disconnected from power long enough to clear memory and discharge the Capacitance within the radio. Please refer to the latest in diagnostics for further information.

Trans Oil Pan, Heater Tube or O-ring, Heater Applies to vehicles equipped with 8 speed transmissions only; If you have a leak that appears to be at the pan the use of proper leak detection is recommended. The fluid in the 8 speeds can be detected with a black light and there are aftermarket spray on leak detection materials to help ensure that the leak is properly diagnosed and not from another location such as cooler lines, heater tubes, or case porosity. If you have a leak concern please note that the transmission pan gasket is available for many of the 8 speed applications FCA offers. See your parts specialist for the proper gasket for the repair.

Intake Manifold Gasket Intake Manifold Gaskets on Pentastar Upgrade (Sales Code ERC/ERF) are reusable provided they are not cut, torn or melted. The gaskets are not required by warranty to be replaced like they are on Pentastar Classic (ERB/EHB). The new gaskets are not interchangeable with Pentastar Classic Intake Manifold Gaskets.

Customer Satisfaction Notification T23 ? EGR Valve Function The Powertrain Control Module (PCM) on about 415,000 of the above vehicles has software that may be operating the Exhaust Gas Recirculation valve (EGR) with an aggressive seating velocity. An aggressive seating velocity may damage the EGR valve. As a result this condition may illuminate the Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) and display a P0404 code. The PCM must be reprogrammed on all involved vehicles.
