Customers may experience a Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) illumination. Transmission Kit with Torque Converter 1. All Promaster (VF) 3.6L/62TE equipped vehicles. If the transmission bracket to the transmission case fasteners are removed during servicing, the fasteners (Part Number 06511385A$) are one-time usage. Vehicles built prior to 10/23/2015 requires Service Kit PN 68461214AA; includes Transmission Isolator PN 68264483AA, and Adaptation Bracket 68264479AA and Fastener Service Kit PN 68329056AA Vehicles built after on or after 10/23/2015 will require only the Fastener Service Kit PN 68329056AA. 2. All 3.6L/62TE equipped vehicles. If the vehicle you are repairing has a crack in the flex plate or failed pump bushing inspect and confirm that both (2) dowel pins are present in the engine block, which align the transmission center line to the crank shaft centerline and visually inspect the dowel alignment holes in the transmission case. If the holes are damaged or elongated the transmission should be replaced to prevent further damage to the transmission/flexplate or pump bushing due to the inability to properly align the engine to the transmission during the repair. 3. All 62TE equipped vehicles. If pump bushing is scored or damaged and the dowel pin alignment holes are ok, replace the pump assembly as opposed to complete transmission. 4. All 62TE equipped vehicles. If vehicle is jerking/slipping with MIL code(s) P0740 or P2764, check TCC Solenoid operation. If TCC Solenoid is ok, the codes are indicative of a torque converter failure. Replace the torque converter.

ADAPTER, Engine Oil Filter (Pentastar V6) All vehicles equipped with a 3.2L or 3.6L except for model year 2014 vehicles with leak concern: 1) Ensure the Oil Filter Adapter (OFA) Cap O-ring is seated in the proper groove in the cap and not damaged or cut. 2) If replacing the (OFA) due to a leak detected between (OFA) and block. Ensure the torque on the 5 bolts are torqued to 12nm. If not record the actual values, torque to 12nm and contact the FCA employees listed below. 3) Remove the (OFA) and replace the O-ring and gaskets only (Kit #68191356A$), NOT THE OFA. 4) If oil was drained, add oil dye to ensure the leak is repaired. For model year 2014 vehicles replace the Oil Filter Adaptor. 5) When replacing PN's 68310865A$ & 68308741A$, it may be necessary to transfer the Oil Temp/Pressure Sensor from the old OFA to the new OFA.

COOLER, Transmission Oil Work procedure to address fluid leak issue with the transmission oil cooler on the MP (Part # 68249191A$), KL (Part # 68399021A$) and RU (Part # 68217322A$) needs to be followed. Service Instructions for the Condition of a TOC fluid leak: 1) Mark the leakage area if visible to assist in diagnosis and determination of the area where the leak has occurred. 2) If fluid leak was caused by damage or leakage at the transmission oil cooler: - Replace transmission oil cooler - Test drive and verify no additional fluid leaks 3) If fluid leak was caused by leak at quick connect fittings: - Replace transmission oil cooler lines - Test drive and verify no additional fluid leaks

Air Suspension Components Star Parts Catalog has been updated to show individual service parts for the compressor assembly. This will allow service technicians to repair the root cause without over repairing the system. Replace only the part deemed failed by the diagnostics performed. Individual parts include: - Compressor - Valve block - Individual hoses - Temp sensor - Shield - Air line clips NOTE: in most situations when a new compressor is needed, the compressor as a separate part is the correct repair, and the assembly would not be required.
