This may be due to an excessive charge port temperature. The concern may not be present when using a 32-amp or lower AC level 2 charger. To correct this condition, remove and replace the charge port. To clear the DTCs, remove anything obstructing the view of the camera and light emitting diodes (LEDs), place the steering wheel in the center position and close the driver door. Connect Ford Diagnosis and Repair System (FDRS) and clear the DTCs. Turn the ignition off and wait 10 seconds. Turn the ignition on and wait 1 minute. Perform the CMR self-test and reevaluate if DTCs persist.

These new topics should be used to help determine severity of damage and an appropriate repair direction for the HVB tray. If inspection per the WSM determines that the HVB tray requires replacement, the HVB battery trays for standard and extended range have been released for service as a lower cost repair option. Standard range HVB tray - LJ9Z-10732-E. Extended range HVB tray - LJ9Z-10732-D. When an HVB tray is replaced, a new high voltage battery serial number label must be obtained as directed in the WSM and installed in the location indicated.

Some 2021-2022 Mustang Mach-E, 2022 F-150 Lightning/e-Transit may experience diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) P1A10 in the secondary on-board diagnostic module C (SOBDMC) and U3012 in the battery energy control module (BECM) after a low voltage service disconnect (LVSD). If both DTCs have set simultaneously, this may be due to the LVSD not being fully seated. Inspect the LVSD C1001 for being fully seated which is located on the left side of the under hood compartment. Refer to Workshop Manual (WSM), Section 414-03A High Voltage Battery > Mounting and Cables > General Procedures.

If the charging cord is removed from the charge port without the lock/release button fully depressed, this can damage the charge port locking pin actuator and disable level 3 charging for the next charging session. To correct the condition, follow the Service Procedure to replace only the charge port lock actuator.
