Some 2022 F-150 Lightning vehicles may exhibit an illuminated malfunction indicator (wrench) lamp and/or malfunction indicator lamp (MIL) with diagnostic trouble code(s) (DTCs) U3012, P062F, and/or P0A7F in the battery energy control module (BECM) and/or P0887 in the secondary on-board diagnostic control module-B (SOBDMB), secondary on-board control module-C (SOBDMC). This may be due to a loose 12 volt positive or negative battery cable connection. Prior to performing Workshop Manual (WSM) diagnostics, inspect both ends of the positive and negative battery cable connections and tighten if loose. If the cable is tight, continue with normal workshop manual diagnostics. Be sure to use the Ford Diagnosis and Repair System (FDRS) high voltage battery capacity relearn. This routine must be performed to clear BECM DTC P0A7F.

Some 2021-2022 Mustang Mach-E, 2022 F-150 Lightning/e-Transit may experience diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) P1A10 in the secondary on-board diagnostic module C (SOBDMC) and U3012 in the battery energy control module (BECM) after a low voltage service disconnect (LVSD). If both DTCs have set simultaneously, this may be due to the LVSD not being fully seated. Inspect the LVSD C1001 for being fully seated which is located on the left side of the under hood compartment. Refer to Workshop Manual (WSM), Section 414-03A High Voltage Battery > Mounting and Cables > General Procedures.

Some 2021-2022 Mach-E, 2022 Transit BEV and F-150 Lightning vehicles may experience inoperative level 3 charging with an illuminated Charger Service Required indicator in the instrument panel cluster (IPC) and diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) P0D93:00, P0D94:00, P0D98:00, P0D9E:00 and/or P0DA0:00 in the secondary on-board diagnostic module (SOBDM). If the charging cord is removed from the charge port without the lock/release button fully depressed, this can damage the charge port locking pin actuator and disable level 3 charging for the next charging session. To correct the condition, follow the Service Procedure to replace only the charge port lock actuator.

For claiming, use causal part 14G672 and actual time for the labor operation.
