Some 2021-2022 Bronco vehicles equipped with a soft top roof may experience a strut that has detached from the soft top frame. It is not possible to reinstall one of these struts once they become detached from the frame. If this occurs, a service strut must be ordered which will arrive with a compression bracket which maintains the exact strut length required for installation. For installation instructions, refer to the Workshop Manual, Section 501-18A. The larger, rear struts are available by ordering (service part number: M2DZ-78515A60-B). The smaller, front struts are available by ordering (service part number: M2DZ-78515A59-B). Each part number contains 1 strut.

Some 2021-2023 Bronco vehicles equipped with a 2.7L or 3.0L EcoBoost engine may exhibit noises coming from the brake pedal while applying and/or releasing the brake pedal or while the vehicle is off without brake pedal application. A single click and/or clunk may be heard during brake pedal application and again on brake pedal release and is considered normal. Clicking may also be heard while the vehicle is off, and without the brake pedal being applied. The clicking heard with the vehicle off is due to the EBB going through the normal shut-down process. The amount of noise will vary between EBB modules and replacement of the EBB module is not expected to reduce the noises.

Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) U0415 may be set in several modules. The issue should correct itself after the vehicle is driven on flat ground and over 28 MPH for a few minutes. This may be due to the software within the anti-lock brake system module (ABS). Some 2021-2022 Bronco vehicles may experience multiple warning indicators/messages displayed in the instrument panel cluster including but is not limited to Pre-Collision Assist Not Available, Hill Start Assist Not Available and/or Front Camera Malfunction. The vehicle may also have multiple communication fault diagnostic trouble codes (DTC) setting in and/or related to the high speed control area network 2 (HS-CAN2) modules. This may be due to a loose and/or improperly seated connector C210. If the vehicle exhibits the above conditions, access and inspect connector C210 for proper attachment and/or damage and repair as necessary. If this fault persists, refer to Workshop Manual, Section 418-00A and continue with normal diagnostics. Some 2021-2022 Bronco vehicles equipped with a soft top roof may experience a broken window buckle on the rear quarter or rear window assemblies. It is no longer required to replace the window assembly to repair this condition. Order the following buckle parts as needed: male side of the buckle (M2DZ-00817-C), which is located on the soft top window assemblies and the female side of the buckle (M2DZ-00817-A), which is located on the soft top cover. To install the male buckle, cut and remove the old plastic clip leaving the fabric loop (on the window assembly) fully intact. The service replacement male buckle includes an open slot that is used to slide the fabric loop through for installation. Sewing is not required for installation.

Some 2022 Bronco vehicles built on 01-Feb-2022 and through 10-Mar-2022 may exhibit rusted fasteners on the front fender trail sights (base part number 9920038). This may be due to a lack of protective e-coating applied to the bolts during the manufacturing process. Replacement of the exterior bodyside grab handle assembly will no longer be required. Trail sight fasteners are now available on their own as SPN: M2DZ-18D654-A. This kit comes with two bolts and two nuts, enough to replace all fasteners on one trail sight assembly. These fasteners work on both the left and right trail sights.

This may result from supplemental brake system set-up that does not account for the Broncos EBB system entering sleep mode (via the ABS module) after a pre-determined period of time following vehicle shut-down. This functionality is necessary to prevent battery drain. Enhanced software is under development to address this condition when the vehicle enters Neutral Tow mode. The new software is expected to be available in December 2022. Monitor OASIS for updates. Until the software becomes available, customers who meet this criteria may perform the procedures below to address this condition when neutral (4-wheel flat) towing their vehicle.

The electronic parts catalog for the 2021-2022 Bronco equipped with a 2.7L GTDI engine had the incorrect engine oil dipstick assigned. This problem only existed for a few months and has since been corrected. The incorrect dipstick that showed in the catalog was SPN: MB3Z-6750-B/F (EPN: MB3E-6750-BB/BC). The 'MB3Z' dipstick (EPN: 'MB3E') is ONLY designed for use on the 2022 Bronco Raptor which is equipped with a 3.0L GTDI engine. The correct engine oil dipstick for the 2021-2022 Bronco 2.7L GTDI engine is SPN: FT4Z-6750-B/C (EPN: FT4E-6750-BF/BG).

Some 2017-2022 Ford/Lincoln customers may experience a notification in the FordPassÃÂÃÂÃÂî/LincolnWayÃÂÃÂÃÂî app indicating Vehicle Has Entered Deep Sleep Mode. This occurs when the vehicle has not been started for 14 consecutive days, battery voltage is at/below 9.5 volts or the body control module (BCM) 12 volt battery state of charge (SOC) drops below 50%. A warning may also set if the telematic control unit (TCU) has received an over the air update. The TCU powers down all communication when in this mode and app features are disabled. Manually start the vehicle to wake if from mode. More information is located in the app under: Account > Help > search 'Deep Sleep' in the entry box. If the condition remains, check the BCM 12v SOC. If the SOC does not change after charging the battery or after BMS reset is performed, continue with normal battery and/or BMS sensor diagnostics.

This may be due to incorrect window glass adjustment from the factory. To correct this condition, perform the Front/Rear Door Window Glass Adjustment procedure located in the Workshop Manual, Section 501-11 > Front doors > Steps 18-26, Rear Doors > Steps 21-25. It is not necessary to remove the door panel to perform this adjustment. During adjustment, set the window regulator nuts to their most outboard position (this will move the top of the window inboard), then reevaluate the noise. Be sure to place the window in the fully down position during adjustment.

As a result of this operational characteristic/design, the operation may not be what is expected in certain conditions. The vehicle is programmed with protection features to prevent damage to the wiper motor in case of overheating, operation with dry windshields, or obstructions to the wiper blade (snow, ice, etc.).
