SI-eVT Transmission - Motor A gap, China Variant & 9 inertia ring bolts For SI-eVT Transmission ONLY: Replace the nine (9) flywheel to damper bolts (68382486AA) when replacing the SI-eVT per TechConnect procedure. North America RU vehicles built prior to Nov 28, 2019 had a 05192374AB level cooler. All subsequent Si-eVT versions have the 05192374AC level cooler requires new 68413378AA inlet hose and 68425381AA outlet hose to service Nov 28, 2019 and prior VINs. China RU vehicles built prior to June 11, 2019 had a 05192374AB level cooler. All 68405320AC have the 05192374AC level cooler requires new 68413378AA inlet hose and 68425381AA outlet hose. The service SI-eVT is shipped with a non-China wiring harness (68241331AC). China market replacement must replace wiring harness with 68368596AA. The China variant 68368596AA wiring harness has an interlock to the electrical charge door. Production SI-eVTs have used motor "A" stators with 0.6 mm and 0.8 mm air gap. The PIM software must match the air gap. Mopar will now ship 68490840A* service SI-eVTs with a 0.8 mm air gap ONLY. Dealers are required to provide a VIN to the Star Center so the DNA of the VIN can be set to the 0.8 mm air gap software. In China, read the SI-eVT model number on the transmission ID tag or imprinted on the case. - all 05062509A*, B* have a 0.6 mm gap so use 68405320AC - all 05062509CA and later (0.8 mm gap) use 68490848AA

Video Routing Module (VRM) Enhancements For Rear Seat Entertainment System This bulletin involves updating the VRM software level to 2114.12. Customers may experience one or more of the following: Black screen on Video Routing Module (VRM)/Rear Seat Entertainment (RSE) displays. One or both of the rear screens are not working after rear display replacement.If the rear display is replaced and it does not function, confirm that the VRM software is up to date. RSE remote control does not pair. When playing a video from a USB stick the video does not resume where it left off after an ignition cycle(2017-19 MY Only). Video Screens do not turn on(2017-18 MY Only). Radio Uconnect theater button does not work(2017-18 MY Only). USB playback is choppy(2017 MY Only). The video system resets or does not function(2017 MY Only). The remote pairing screen will time out and inform customer the remote(s) have not been paired(2017 MY Only). Remotes frequently do not pair(2017 MY Only). Occasional reset(2017 MY Only). Rear screens can be accidently controlled from the radio outside of the parental control feature(2017 MY Only). This is part of a two step FOTA update, first update brings software level to 22.61 and this second FOTA update will take the software to 22.64. National launch for this second step is May 24, 2021. Transmission Kit with Torque Converter 1. All Promaster (VF) 3.6L/62TE equipped vehicles. If the transmission bracket to the transmission case fasteners are removed during servicing, the fasteners (Part Number 06511385A$) are one-time usage. Vehicles built prior to 10/23/2015 requires Service Kit PN 68461214AA; includes Transmission Isolator PN 68264483AA, and Adaptation Bracket 68264479AA and Fastener Service Kit PN 68329056AA Vehicles built after on or after 10/23/2015 will require only the Fastener Service Kit PN 68329056AA. 2. All 3.6L/62TE equipped vehicles. If the vehicle you are repairing has a crack in the flex plate or failed pump bushing inspect and confirm that both (2) dowel pins are present in the engine block, which align the transmission center line to the crank shaft centerline and visually inspect the dowel alignment holes in the transmission case. If the holes are damaged or elongated the transmission should be replaced to prevent further damage to the transmission/flexplate or pump bushing due to the inability to properly align the engine to the transmission during the repair. 3. All 62TE equipped vehicles. If pump bushing is scored or damaged and the dowel pin alignment holes are ok, replace the pump assembly as opposed to complete transmission. 4. All 62TE equipped vehicles. If vehicle is jerking/slipping with MIL code(s) P0740 or P2764, check TCC Solenoid operation. If TCC Solenoid is ok, the codes are indicative of a torque converter failure. Replace the torque converter.
