Emission Recall - General Motors has decided to conduct a voluntary emissions recall involving certain vehicles. The Vehicle Emissions Control Information (VECI) label may not have been installed. Additionally, other documentation including the ownerâs portfolio and Monroney Label may not have been provided with the vehicle. Dealers are to install a VECI label and provide the owner with the ownerâs portfolio and Monroney label.

This PI states that a vehicle may exhibit a concern of the cross traffic alert indicators not displaying on the radio screen. While this is a customer dissatisfier, it does not pose a safety concern due to the fact that the customer will still be alerted to an approaching vehicle by the seat vibration. Customer Satisfaction Program - Due to the industry-wide semiconductor shortage, the park assist feature is not functional on certain 2022 and 2023 model year vehicles, built beginning December 2, 2021. The affected vehicle owners should have been made aware of the condition at sale, and notified, that once parts are available, they would be eligible for a no additional cost retrofit to enable the feature. Dealers are to replace the park assist control module to restore the Park Assist feature. Note: some vehicles may also require reprogramming of the instrument cluster or the active safety control module.
