Service Update. On certain vehicles equipped with a 6.0L gasoline engine (RPO L96) and is a fleet government vehicle (RPO GAM), the left rear middle body mount may crack and collapse causing a metal-to-metal contact. Dealers are to inspect the integrity of 10 resistance spot welds attaching the body mount internal reinforcement to the vehicle floor forward of the left rear wheel. In addition, an external reinforcement will be MIG stitch welded to the outer (under-car) side of the vehicle at the body mount area.

Starting with 2016 model year Lane Keep Assist Regular Production Option Code (UHX) replaced Lane Departure Warning Regular Production Option Code (UFL). This Preliminary Information communication provides information to the technician about vehicles that may have a delayed engagement into drive, shudder at a launch, or the transmission is slipping when shifting into 1st, 2nd, 3rd or 4th gears. This may be due to loose stator support to pump cover bolts causing a leak at the stator support to pump cover gasket. Technician will check for the bolts to be loose. If any of the bolts are loose or the gasket is misaligned or leaking, the transmission pump cover must be replaced and the 1234 clutch plates should be inspected for being distressed and repaired as needed.
