N182188930 - Special Coverage. Some vehicles, equipped with a Duramax Diesel engine, the transmission cooler lines may be rubbing on the front frame/bumper mount bracket. This condition could cause the cooler lines to leak. Transmission fluid may be seen on the ground under the front bumper. Some drivers may have difficulty selecting gears or experience transmission slip. This special coverage covers the condition described above for a period of 6 years or 72,000 miles (116,000 km), whichever occurs first, from the date the vehicle was originally placed in service, regardless of ownership. Dealers are to replace the transmission cooler lines. The repairs will be made at no charge to the customer.

Remove the power inverter module and apply two sided tape to the module bracket to insulate it from the mount. The instrument panel accessory bezel will also need to be removed. Apply flocking tape to the instrument panel accessory bezel retainers. Also the instrument panel extension will need to be removed. Apply foam tape around connectors located under grill to prevent them from rattling on grill. Apply flocking tape to the instrument panel extension retainers and apply a strip of foam tape along the edge of the grill to isolate the grill from the dash.
