Technician will inspect and clean the ground wire (normally white wire) connection on the trailer side of the 7-pin connector. Inspect that the wires inside the trailer side connector are clean and securely fastened. If the vehicle?s 7-way connector socket terminals are deformed or have excessive wear, it will be necessary to replace the truck side connector with part number 23404450.

Pair the iPhone to the system then enter the Bluetooth settings menu, select the ?i? icon next to the vehicle name in the device and enable show notifications. The text messaging feature will be available on the next ignition cycle. However with iPhones text messages cannot be responded to when using the infotainment system, they can only be received. For android devices pair the phone to the system during the pairing process the phone will ask you to allow the vehicle to access the device contacts. A second question will pop up on the device asking to allow the vehicle to access the message access profile. Both have to be allowed for the text messaging feature to work.

If the braze is incomplete the support bracket may detach from the fuel rail assembly over time. Wiring may sever and compromise the function of the fuel pump and/or the 4 passenger side injectors. If the function of the fuel pump and/or injectors is compromised, the Check Engine Light will come on, and you could experience reduced engine power. Loss of propulsion is possible, and there is a remote chance of fire if there is a fuel leak. Replace fuel rail assembly.

If the braze is incomplete the support bracket may detach from the fuel rail assembly over time. Wiring may sever and compromise the function of the fuel pump and/or the 4 passenger side injectors. If the function of the fuel pump and/or injectors is compromised, the Check Engine Light will come on, and you could experience reduced engine power. Loss of propulsion is possible, and there is a remote chance of fire if there is a fuel leak. Replace fuel rail assembly.
