Information only. Replacement intake manifolds for CCTA engines have an improved intake manifold flap valve -N316.The new -N316- valve has 3 hose ports rather than 2 (See Figure 1), requiring a fresh air line be installed during intake manifold replacement. This fresh air line will prevent dirt and debris from contaminating the -N316- solenoid.

Campaign Parts Bulletin - 69M8 and 69M9 - Today, May 5th is the final standard weekly allocation of Takata airbag inflators. After this date, Takata allocations will be based on the previous week?s paid claim volume. It is CRITICAL that claims are submitted in a timely fashion in order to receive an appropriate volume of additional parts to support demand.

Info from this bulletin is combined with TB 2031075 (V241208) and 2038161 (V241506) due to warranty extension claiming/processing confusion. (Basically 3 technical bulletins covering the same DTC were combined into 1 technical bulletin). By combining the three technical bulletins it allowed for archiving (removal from publication) of V241208 and V241506 stated above.

Tech Tips (Heated Rear Window, One or More Lines Inoperative): To detect which line(s) is inoperative, utilize a volt meter to check for 0 V, which will be present after the open in the grid line. The check must be performed with the engine running and heated rear window switched on. Switch OFF the ignition and visually locate the damage.
