TT: Precautions regarding lift point interference with frame hole plugs: To help prevent water from entering the vehicle's frame, hole plugs are installed in certain locations of the frame during manufacturing. ? One of the hole plug styles allow water to drain from the bottom of the frame yet block water from entering. ? This one-way drain plug is located near a usable frame lift point. If the technician does not take note of the location of one-way drain plug, it may be easily crushed by the shop lift's arm.

Intermittent Bluetooth® failure to connect to the vehicle when first turning on the vehicle. ? Various Bluetooth® Audio functions are no longer functioning with customer?s phone such as ability to change the track using the steering wheel controls. These concerns can be caused by changes made on the customer?s phone. If a puncture occurs, it may be possible to repair the tire and return it to service. In the event that a Toyota vehicle becomes submerged in water, many components may be physically damaged. Electrical and electronic components, including wiring harnesses, are particularly susceptible to corrosion and subsequent malfunction. Although any flooding can be damaging, salt water flooding elevates the potential for abnormal conditions and may increase risks due to its highly corrosive and conductive nature. Salt residue also continues to corrode and remain conductive even after a vehicle dries. This bulletin is intended to assist with safe handling and inspection of flood damaged vehicles and to provide basic guidance on likely needed repairs.

Revised software for the Trailer Brake Control ECU has been developed to provide an alternative trailer braking feel for these customers. APPLICABLE WARRANTY: ? This repair is covered under the Toyota Basic Warranty. This warranty is in effect for 36 months or 36,000 miles, whichever occurs first, from the vehicle?s in-service date. ? TT: During previous air conditioning service, leakage prevention agent (A/C stop leak) may have been added to the A/C system. Adding stop leak products to the A/C system is not a recommended or approved Toyota repair process. During A/C service, moisture enters the A/C system, and can react with the previously added A/C stop leak, forming a gelatinous substance. The gel substance that forms can cause the A/C compressor to bind and or seize.

On some vehicles, when Rapgard? is removed the paint may have a stained appearance. These stains appear to be under the clear coat (repainting this area is NOT necessary). The stain patterns are usually under wrinkles in the Rapgard?. These wrinkles sometimes trap water and cause the paint to stain from the trapped moisture, especially on horizontal surfaces, such as the hood, roof, and trunk. Stains can be removed by heating the stained surface to remove the trapped moisture.

TSB: A battery in a stored vehicle is subject to conditions that can reduce its performance and life. These conditions include storage period, temperature, parasitic drain, and battery load. Because of these factors, battery inspection and maintenance are required in order to ensure proper operation and optimal battery life. As a matter of policy, Toyota does not provide battery warranty coverage for discharged and/or failed batteries due to lack of maintenance. It is the dealer?s responsibility to maintain the specified State of Charge (SOC) of the vehicle?s battery while in stock and assure proper State of Charge (SOC) at delivery. To eliminate customer service concerns due to an undercharged battery during the first few weeks of ownership, ALL dealers should check battery State of Charge (SOC) and recharge, if necessary, within 48 hours of delivery to customers.
