If the hybrid vehicle is put into storage, the state of charge (SOC) of its HV battery and auxiliary battery will gradually decrease. To prevent the auxiliary battery from becoming discharged during storage, proper maintenance is necessary.

2014 model year vehicles are equipped with driver?s side floor mat retaining clips to secure the floor mat in the correct position. In addition, some models may utilize retaining clips for passenger side and rear seat floor mats as well. Follow the appropriate installation procedure to attach the driver?s side, and if applicable, the passenger?s side and rear seat floor mats to the vehicle carpet using the floor mat retaining clips during Pre-Delivery Service (PDS).

During the manufacturing process tires are mounted on the vehicle as matched sets to help reduce conditions such as pulling or drifting. If the wheels are replaced or refinished before vehicle delivery, it is important that the tires remain on the vehicle in the same location and in the same direction of rotation. Please refer to the following procedure to ensure that the original tires stay in the same location on the vehicle.

Some 2014 model year vehicles are equipped with a Smart Key system, which allows the customer to enter and start the vehicle without using a mechanical key. To ensure the system is operating properly, the Smart Key functions (Smart Entry and Smart Start) should be inspected during Pre-Delivery Service (PDS).
