Vehicle System Interface Module Unresponsive This bulletin involves reprogramming the Vehicle System Interface Module (VSIM) with the latest available software. Customers may notice uplift components connected to the VSIM inoperative at times. This is caused by a condition where as the VSIM locks up and becomes unresponsive. No DTCs will be reported for loss of communication between the VSIM and Central Body Controller (CBC). This can be corrected by updating the VSIM with the latest available software. SYMPTOM ONLY FOR 2013 DD AND DP with Power Take Off Prep (Sales Code LBN) Customers may experience after 30 minutes of operation the PTO may shut off. 2014 KL 9-Speed service transaxle with 2015 common hardware This 9-speed transaxle must be ordered thru Mopar?s Powertrain Service Center (PSC) for a specific VIN and must be installed in that vehicle or the correct calibration will not load to the Engine Control Module (ECM) and Transmission Control Module (TCM).~ This 9-speed transaxle assembly requires an update to the Engine Control Module AND the Transmission Control Module using WiTech. Radiator If vehicle comes in for transmission fluid leaking from trans-oil cooler fittings on the radiator, please check the following before replacing the radiator/cooler:~ 1. Remove both of the transmission lines from the cooler?s top/bottom flared fittings on the radiator. ~ 2. Loosen the hex nut on the top flared fitting on the radiator tank.~ 3. Torque the top flared fitting to 235 +/- 15 Lb-In.~ 4. Torque hex nut to 100 +/- 10 Lb-In.~ 5. Repeat for bottom flared fitting.~ 6. Reinstall transmission line per normal installation procedures and ensure correct fluid level.~ ~ If vehicle is in need of a new radiator for another reason, check the new radiator for correct torque on the trans-oil cooler fitting per steps 2-5 above.~ ~ If radiator has a yellow mark by the trans-oil cooler fittings the torque does not have to be checked.

RA3 RA4 Radio Enhancements This bulletin involves inspecting and updating the radio software, if required. A customer may experience, one or more of the following conditions. ? Improved Radio security protection to reduce the potential risk of unauthorized and unlawful access to vehicle systems (U.S. Market Only). ? Track names may be displayed twice in USB or SD media modes. ? SD, USB or BTSA modes may become non-functional for a given ignition cycle. ? Duplicate song titles may be displayed in USB mode. ? Last track is displayed but next track is being played. ? Navigation function may resets itself after using One-Shot Voice Recognition (VR). ? Intermittently the Global Positioning System (GPS) may lose it?s location for a short time and causes routing and positioning concerns. ? Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF) Level Gauge Inaccurate Or Stuck This bulletin involves verifying the correct DEF level in the tank and if necessary, replacing the DEF pump module. A small number of customers may comment that their DEF level gauge is stuck for long periods of time or is erratic. The customer may also experience a Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) illumination. Upon further investigation a technician may find one or more of the following Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs). ? P203B - Reductant Level Sensor Circuit Performance ? P203C - (Diesel Exhaust Fluid) Reductant Level Sensor Circuit Low. ? P203D - (Diesel Exhaust Fluid) Reductant Level Sensor Circuit High.
