AIR BAG WARNING LIGHT FLASHING INDICATING SYSTEM DIAGNOSTIC MODE IF YOU CONFIRM The air bag warning light is flashing slowly (repeating 2 seconds ON, 2 seconds OFF). NOTE: If this should occur, the Air Bag Diagnosis Sensor Unit is in Diagnostic Mode and needs to be returned to User Mode. ACTION 1. Use CONSULT-III plus to check for Air Bag DTCs and perform repairs as needed. 2. Return the Air Bag Diagnosis Sensor Unit to User Mode.

Refer to ASIST for diagnostic assistance. - With this incident, if it should occur, P1715 (INPUT SPEED SENSOR) may be stored with DTC P0776. The vehicle may also hesitate and/or have reduced power. ACTION 1. Refer to the Repair Flow Chart on page 2 for mechanical CVT repair. 2. If needed, reprogram the TCM. - Refer to step 30 in the TCM Reprogram section (page 21) of the SERVICE PROCEDURE to confirm if reprogramming is needed. 3. Perform Additional Service (page 19).

SENTRA, VERSA SEDAN, AND VERSA NOTE; CVT FLUID LEAK SERVICE INFORMATION SERVICE INFORMATION CVT related fluid leaks may be diagnosed incorrectly upon initial inspection causing incorrect parts replacement such as oil pan gaskets, axle seals, etc. To help reduce/eliminate the possible return of an applied vehicle, first check for leakage around the CVT fluid charging pipe. When leakage is determined to be coming from the base of the CVT fluid charging pipe, remove it to inspect, and if necessary, replace the O-ring. If needed, CVT leak inspection dye may be used to determine the source of the leak. - Refer to NTB09-140. See example photos on pages 2 and 3.

SERVICE INFORMATION Diagnostic information in the Electronic Service Manuals (ESM) for the following DTCs may be missing or incorrect: -B2EF0 ? INTERNAL BATTERY (CIRC VOLT BELOW THRESHOLD) -B130C ? TCU (Telematics Control Unit) PAIRING ERROR If one of these DTCs is stored, follow the steps listed below along with the Electronic Service Manual (ESM) to compete the required repairs. DTC B2FE0 ? INTERNAL BATTERY (CIRC VOLT BELOW THRESHOLD): 1. Start the engine and let it idle for 30 minutes (to allow charging of the TCU internal battery). -2018 LEAF only: Put the vehicle in Ready to Drive mode (depress the brake pedal and depress the power [?ignition?] switch) for 30 minutes. 2. Verify the DTC can be erased. 3. If the DTC will not erase, replace the TCU. DTC B130C: 1. Collect all keys, and then re-register them to the vehicle. 2. Verify the DTC can be erased. 3. If the DTC will not erase, replace the TCU. NOTE: The related Electronic Service Manuals (ESM) will be updated at a later date. ADAS SYSTEM DTC C1A03, C1A04, AND/OR C1B01 SERVICE INFORMATION This bulletin applies only to vehicles equipped with Automatic Emergency Braking (AEB) or Forward Emergency Braking (FEB). SERVICE INFORMATION If the following ICC/ADAS codes are stored, make sure to follow the diagnostic procedures in the Electronic Service Manual (ESM) before replacing any parts. C1A03 ? VEHICLE SPEED SENSOR -The diagnostic procedure in the ESM includes check and, if needed, repair for ABS DTCs before replacing ADAS components. -If repairs are performed for the ABS system; when compete, perform DTC Confirmation Procedure again before doing any additional repairs. C1A04 ? ABS/TCS/VDC SYSTEM -The diagnostic procedure in the ESM includes check and, if needed, repair for ABS DTCs before replacing ADAS components. -If repairs are performed for the ABS system; when compete, perform DTC Confirmation Procedure again before doing any additional repairs. C1B01 CAM AIMING INCMP -The diagnostic procedure in the ESM includes check and, if needed, repair for LANE CAMERA DTCs before replacing ADAS components. -LANE CAMERA DTC may require adjustment of the lane camera. -If repairs/adjustments are performed for the Lane Camera; when compete, perform DTC Confirmation Procedure again before doing any additional repairs.

2018 ALTIMA AND SENTRA; DO NOT ERASE DTC P0315 This bulletin applies to vehicles equipped with a 4-cyl (non-turbo) engine only. SERVICE INFORMATION If DTC P0315 is stored on an Applied Vehicle, do not erase it. If DTC P0315 is stored, the description on the CONSULT-III plus screen will be listed as: (TBD) Crankshaft Position System Variation Not Learned. If you find DTC P0315 stored, please note the following: - Do not erase the DTC. - It will not turn ON the MIL. - No diagnosis or repair is necessary. - It will clear itself after a few trips with normal operation of the vehicle. NOTE: If DTC P0315 is erased with C-III plus, the ECM will restart the learning pattern: - The DTC may be stored again before the learning/driving pattern is complete. - The MIL will not come ON. - The DTC will clear itself after a few trips with normal operation of the vehicle.
