2017-2018 Rogue and Rogue Sport Automatic Emergency Braking (AEB) Update Notification Letter Nissan is conducting an important Customer Service Initiative to increase awareness of an available update for the Automatic Emergency Braking (AEB) system on certain Model Year 2017-18 Rogue (T32), Rogue Sport (J11), and Rogue Hybrid (T32) vehicles. In rare instances and unique roadway environments such as certain types of railroad crossings and metal overpasses, the AEB system in some vehicles may activate braking when not needed. The driver can always override the AEB system by pressing the accelerator. Nissan has developed a special AEB system update that is available to owners at no cost for parts and labor during the duration of the Basic Coverage under their New Vehicle Limited Warranty (3 years/36,000 miles, whichever comes first). This update will enhance system performance for customers that wish to proactively update their vehicle or for customers that have experienced this issue. THIS CUSTOMER SERVICE INITIATIVE IS IMPLEMENTED TO MAKE CUSTOMERS AWARE OF AN AVAILABLE UPDATE. THIS INITIATIVE IS NOT A WARRANTY, AN EXTENSION OF THE NEW VEHICLE LIMITED WARRANTY, OR AN IMPLIED OR GENERAL WARRANTY, AND IS NOT CONNECTED TO ANY SALE OF THE VEHICLE.

State Specific Bumper Performance Label Dealer Inventory *****Detailed Information***** Nissan is conducting a quality action specific to dealers located in California and Hawaii only to apply a supplemental bumper performance label. Due to an issue that has since been corrected, the bumper performance language may be missing from the Monroney label. Verify if vehicles currently in new dealer inventory are affected by this quality action using Service Comm or DBS National Service History ? Open Campaign I.D. PC622 - New vehicles in dealer inventory can also be identified using DBS (Sales-> Vehicle Inventory, and filter by Open Campaign). - Refer to NPSB 15-460 for additional information - Please continue to check newly arriving inventory for campaign applicability. 2. Use the attached procedure to remedy vehicles affected by this quality action. 3. The service department should submit the applicable warranty claim for the action(s) performed so it can be closed on Service Comm and release the vehicle. 4. Dealers will receive five (5) extra labels, but if additional labels are needed, please send your request for the number of labels needed to CampaignAnnouncements@nissan-usa.com along with your dealer name, address and contact name and phone number. - Labels will be mailed beginning May 25, 2018 and should arrive no later than June 1, 2018
