NISSAN; DIAGNOSIS INFORMATION FOR ABS DTC C1130 SERVICE INFORMATION When diagnosing for DTC C1130 (ENGINE SIGNAL): ECM related DTCs (P-codes) must be diagnosed, repaired, and DTCs erased first. - DTC C1130 is an ABS DTC that indicates an output signal of the ECM is not recognized. - Absent or incorrect ECM signals, that are indicated by corresponding P-codes, may trigger C1130 in the ABS control unit. - Some vehicle features that can be affected by absent or incorrect ECM signals are: - Forward Emergency Braking (FEB) - Intelligent Cruise Control (ICC) - VDC/ABS/TCS

Front Member Welds - Quality Assurance Hold ***** Detailed Information ***** Nissan is placing a temporary Quality Assurance (QA) Hold on approximately 880 specific MY2017 Altima (L33) and 296 specific MY2017 Maxima (A36) vehicles. Some of these vehicles were originally placed on hold on October 14, 2016 and subsequently released for sale on October 21, 2016. After further engineering and design review, Nissan has decided to reverse this decision and place these vehicles on hold again. Nissan is continuing to study the issue and expects to have further direction by the end of November 2016. The Service Comm I.D. has been changed to help clarify which vehicles should be held until further notice. ***** What Dealers Should Do ***** 1. Verify if vehicles currently in dealer inventory are affected by this QA Hold using Service Comm I.D. PC502 Note: Dealers should continue to check new arriving inventory for QA Hold applicability. 2. Please do not sell or trade the specific 2017 Altima and Maxima vehicles in dealer inventory subject to this QA Hold. 3. No further action is necessary at this time. Nissan will provide an update by the end of November 2016. Note: If a vehicle previously held and sold, there is no need to notify the customer at this time. If necessary, Nissan will contact affected customers.

Further investigation by Nissan confirmed the subject vehicles meet Nissan's standards and applicable regulations and require no further action. Accordingly, the Quality Assurance Hold is rescinded. IMPORTANT: Effective immediately, the Quality Assurance Hold is rescinded and the subject vehicles may be released for sale. ***** What Dealers Should Do ***** 1. Effective immediately, dealers may release for sale any vehicles in dealer inventory affected by this quality hold.

SERVICE INFORMATION Temporary tire Flat Spotting is common on New Dealer In-Stock vehicles that have not been occasionally moved. Flat Spotting can occur after the vehicle has been parked (not moved) for a few days, or longer. In most cases it is temporary. In extreme cases it can be permanent. Vehicles should be moved every 30 days, in one direction only, enough to rotate the tires 90° (see Figure 1). Moving vehicles as shown will prevent tire Flat Spotting. Many chrome wheel cleaners have acidic ingredients. Make sure to follow all instruction in the Appearance and Care Section of the Owner?s Manual.
