2018-2019 LEAF; REPLACING OR ALIGNING DISTANCE SENSOR (ICC SENSOR) BRACKET OR CHARGE PORT LID SERVICE INFORMATION If a distance sensor (ICC sensor) bracket is removed or replaced (see Figure 1 on the next page): - Take care when handling the distance sensor bracket. It can be damaged if dropped. - Do not bend the distance sensor bracket to adjust radar alignment. NOTE: If the distance sensor is difficult to align, confirm the bracket is not bent by comparing it to a known good vehicle. - Always perform an ICC Sensor Alignment (Radar Alignment Procedure) whenever the distance sensor bracket is removed or replaced. - To locate the Radar Alignment Procedure in the Electronic Service Manual (ESM), select the "Trouble Diagnosis" section and enter ICC Sensor Alignment into the Title Search field. If a charge port lid is removed or replaced: - Do not bend the charge port lid frame to adjust (Figure 2). - Do not bend any of the components attached to the charge port bracket (Figure 2). - To locate the Charge Port Lid Adjustment Specs and Procedure in the ESM, select the ?Inspection, Removal, and Installation? section and enter Charge Port Lid Assembly into the Title Search field. - Always perform an ICC Sensor Alignment (Radar Alignment Procedure) whenever any of the components called out in Figure 2 are removed or replaced. - To locate the Radar Alignment Procedure in the Electronic Service Manual (ESM), select the "Trouble Diagnosis" section and enter ICC Sensor Alignment into the Title Search field.

Due to an issue that has since been corrected, the bumper performance language may be missing from the Monroney label. Affected vehicles are not subject to stop sale and are either currently in dealer inventory or assigned and in transit to the dealer. In the interest of customer satisfaction, Nissan requests dealers to apply the supplemental bumper performance label on the affected vehicles prior to retail sale. *****What Dealers Should Do***** 1. Verify if vehicles currently in new dealer inventory are affected by this quality action using Service Comm or DBS National Service History ? Open Campaign I.D. PC622 - New vehicles in dealer inventory can also be identified using DBS (Sales-> Vehicle Inventory, and filter by Open Campaign). - Refer to NPSB 15-460 for additional information - Please continue to check newly arriving inventory for campaign applicability. 2. Use the attached procedure to remedy vehicles affected by this quality action. 3. The service department should submit the applicable warranty claim for the action(s) performed so it can be closed on Service Comm and release the vehicle. 4. SERVICE INFORMATION Diagnostic information in the Electronic Service Manuals (ESM) for the following DTCs may be missing or incorrect: -B2EF0 ? INTERNAL BATTERY (CIRC VOLT BELOW THRESHOLD) -B130C ? TCU (Telematics Control Unit) PAIRING ERROR If one of these DTCs is stored, follow the steps listed below along with the Electronic Service Manual (ESM) to compete the required repairs. DTC B2FE0 ? INTERNAL BATTERY (CIRC VOLT BELOW THRESHOLD): 1. Start the engine and let it idle for 30 minutes (to allow charging of the TCU internal battery). -2018 LEAF only: Put the vehicle in Ready to Drive mode (depress the brake pedal and depress the power [?ignition?] switch) for 30 minutes. 2. Verify the DTC can be erased. 3. If the DTC will not erase, replace the TCU. DTC B130C: 1. Collect all keys, and then re-register them to the vehicle. 2. Verify the DTC can be erased. 3. If the DTC will not erase, replace the TCU. NOTE: The related Electronic Service Manuals (ESM) will be updated at a later date. CLAIMS INFORMATION Refer to the current Nissan Warranty Flat Rate Manual and submit a claim for the repairs performed.
