2019-2021 ALTIMA AND 2021 ROGUE; AC INOPERATIVE WITH DTC B20C8-14 STORED IF YOU CONFIRM The AC compressor is not engaging when the AC is in the ON position as indicated by the yellow illumination on the AC button, And DTC B20C8-14 ECV (ELECTRICAL CONTROL VALVE) is stored in the IPDM. SERVICE PROCEDURE 1. PREVENT FRONT AXLE THREAD DAMAGE DURING NUT REMOVAL SERVICE INFORMATION If an Applied Vehicle needs to have a front axle nut removed, for any reason, the staking of the nut into the axle keyway must first be removed. The essential tool (part number # J-52982, Figure 1) required to remove the nut staking, is called out as a âCape Chiselâ in the Electronic Service Manual (ESM), and must be used to prevent thread damage to the axle (see Figure 2 on page 2). ï· The Cape Chisel arrived at dealers in December of 2020. ï· Damaged threads, due to improper removal of the stake placed in the nut, will not be covered by warranty. For information on using the Cape Chisel, refer to the Electronic Service Manual (ESM): Section TRANSMISSION & DRIVELINE > FRONT AXLE > REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION > FRONT DRIVE SHAFT > LH/RH.

DTC B12A3-72 FOR FUEL PUMP RELAY STUCK OPEN SERVICE INFORMATION DTC B12A3-72 (Fuel Pump Relay Stuck Open) may be stored when the IPDM monitor circuit internally sees 0V to ground at pin #46. This is caused by an internal short to ground in the IPDM or one of the IPDM fuses listed below is open. If B12A3-72 is current or reoccurs after erasing DTCs, inspect the model specific fuse first. If the fuse is not open replace the IPDM. ï· Altima â Fuse # 58 (page 2) ï· Kicks â Fuse # 54 (page 3) ï· Versa â Fuse # 61 (page 4) For additional IPDM diagnostic information refer to the Electronic Service Manual (ESM): Section ELECTRICAL & POWER CONTROL > POWER CONTROL SYSTEM > IPDM E/R. 2019-2020 ALTIMA; DTC P2015 OR P2004 STORED DURING COLD WEATHER IF YOU CONFIRM The customer stated that the MIL was on after starting the engine in cold weather, below 0°F. And DTC P2015 (INTAKE MANIFOLD RUNNER CONTROL VALVE POSITION SENSOR) and/or DTC P2004 (INTAKE MANIFOLD RUNNER CONTROL VALVE) are stored in the ECM. DTC status is either current or past. And No problem is found after performing the DTC diagnosis per the Electronic Service Manual (ESM). ACTION Replace the intake manifold.

VCR Engine Inspection *****Dealer Announcement***** Nissan is conducting a quality action on 10 specific MY 2020 Altima (L34) vehicles identified in Service Comm, to remove and inspect the lower engine oil pan. Affected vehicles are subject to stop sale and are either currently in dealer inventory or assigned and in transit to the dealer. *****What Dealers Should Do***** PLEASE FOLLOW THE ATTACHED REPAIR INSTRUCTIONS: 1. Verify if vehicles are affected by this quality action using Service Comm or DBS National Service History â Open Campaigns I.D. PC724 ï· - New vehicles in dealer inventory can also be identified using DBS (Sales-> Vehicle Inventory, and filter by Open Campaign). ï§ - Refer to NPSB 15-460 for additional information ï· - Please continue to check newly arriving inventory for campaign applicability. 2. Please do not drive, sell, loan or trade the specific 2020 Altima vehicles in Dealer Inventory subject to this Quality Action. 3.
