In XENTRY diagnosis, the message "MBUX multimedia system control unit is defective (hard drive, internal fault)" appears while attempting to communicate with the MBUX multimedia system (A26/17). Internal hard drive defect. Replacement of internal hard drive. The MBUX multimedia system (A26/17) hard drive is now available separately as a replacement part.

The mobile phone address book is not transferred completely to the multimedia system (COMAND or MBUX). In some cases, the call list shows just the telephone numbers but no names. The problem only occurs in conjunction with the iPhone and software version iOS 13.x.

During a phone call, the Bluetooth connection between the MBUX multimedia system (A26/17) and a paired mobile phone may be briefly lost. The mobile phone will then reconnect with no user input. Follow these steps as a temporary solution: - Deauthorize the affected mobile phone In the MBUX multimedia system (A26/17) via "Home" -> "Phone" - Reconnect the mobile phone to the MBUX multimedia system (A26/17) - Select "No" when the following prompt appears in the central display: "Do you want to authorize MercedesMe from ...."

The check engine indicator light in the instrument cluster may be illuminated with one of the following fault codes: P261029, P02FF85, or P02FF02 stored in the engine control unit (N3/10). The time in instrument cluster is implausible due to an internal reset. If no other complaints exist then check for and perform any available software updates for the following control units: - Motor electronics (N3/10) - Powertrain control unit (N127) - Instrument cluster (A1) If all three control units have the latest software installed and the complaint continues to occur then proceed with replacement of the instrument cluster (A1) Should the complaint re-occur after the instrument cluster has been replaced then open a PTSS case with the following information: - Control units logs for the ME, PTCU, and IC - Initial quick test
