When this occurs, a ?BSD canceled? message is displayed in the vehicle?s instrument cluster. The ?BSD canceled? message remains on even if the customer manually disables the BSD system, and may result in customer complaints. This bulletin provides the service procedure to update the system software to turn off the ?BSD canceled? message when the BSD system is manually disabled.
