This is normal operation of the vehicle built with regular production code BTM and without Regular Production Option Code AVF. If the vehicle was built with regular production code BTM and AVF only has a 1 hour idle time.

This Preliminary information communicates to the dealer technician that if a customer comments that their vehicle equipped with a 6L80, 6L90, 8L90, 10L80, or 10L1000 transmission has a harsh shift, shudder, stall or high transmission fluid temperature concern they should inspect for a twisted transmission cooler line. Technicians are instructed to disconnect the cooler line and untwist it then reconnect the cooler line and inspect the cooler line for being misshaped. Technicians are instructed to replace the cooler line if it is misshaped.

Customer Satisfaction Program. Certain vehicles, equipped with a 6.2L gasoline engine (RPO L87), may have a condition in which the inner main bearing cap bolts were not torqued properly. Based on data available to GM, vehicles involved in this field action may be at an increased risk of experiencing low engine oil pressure with warning, potentially causing engine damage. Dealers are to replace the engine.
