N182190820 - Customer Satisfaction Program. Certain vehicles, may have a condition where the power steering belt may slip due to tooth wear-out or poor belt tooth-to-gear tooth fit. Power steering assist may be reduced or lost intermittently, if early warning signs are ignored. Early warnings may include a ?Steering Assist is Reduced? message, audible clicking / squealing sounds, or a change in steering effort. Dealers will replace the steering gear assembly.

Customer Satisfaction Program. Certain vehicles may have an incomplete or missing braze between the harness bulkhead support bracket and the fuel rail assembly. If the braze is incomplete the support bracket may detach from the fuel rail assembly over time. Wiring may sever and compromise the function of the fuel pump and/or the 4 passenger side injectors. If the function of the fuel pump and/or injectors is compromised, the Check Engine Light will come on, and you could experience reduced engine power. Loss of propulsion is possible, and there is a remote chance of fire if there is a fuel leak. Replace fuel rail assembly.

Customer Satisfaction. Certain vehicles, equipped with the 10-speed automatic transmission (RPO MF6), may have a condition in which the transmission manual shaft pin was not seated properly. If the shaft pin were to migrate out of position, the driver may find they cannot shift the vehicle into any gear other than the last one selected. The customer may be unable to return the vehicle back to park, in which case they would be required to engage the parking brake to ensure the vehicle does not roll from its intended position. This may be the result of a deformed or improperly seated steering shaft seal allowing engine compartment sounds into the vehicle. Dealers are instructed to replace or reinstall the boot as needed and are informed the condition is being reviewed by engineering.
