UAS, UAQ, UCS, UAV, UCV and UCQ Radio Over The Air Software Version Updates This bulletin provides information regarding the latest Flash Over The Air (FOTA) update and provides the service technician an overview of the steps a customer will need to take to complete the update. This is part of a two step FOTA update, first update brings software level to 22.61 and this second FOTA update will take the software to 22.64. National launch for this second step is May 24, 2021. Customers may experience one or more of the following:Navigation is incorrect or can not calculate route. GPS locations is inaccurate. Uconnect radio apps are all inoperable. Backup camera screen is blue (DT and KL). Green horizontal lines appear across screen (DT and KL). Anti-theft code request message. Backup camera screen is blank. Lines appear across screen. Radio control screen is blank or locked. Radio reset intermittently. Unable to adjust audio volume. Unable to switch modes between AM, FM, SAT or Media. In addition the following enhancements are included in this update:Carplay® connectivity improvement. Improvement to Bluetooth® phone pairing. Bluetooth devices unresponsive. Improved sound quality when using a Bluetooth phone.

Transmission Kit with Torque Converter 1. All Promaster (VF) 3.6L/62TE equipped vehicles. If the transmission bracket to the transmission case fasteners are removed during servicing, the fasteners (Part Number 06511385A$) are one-time usage. Vehicles built prior to 10/23/2015 requires Service Kit PN 68461214AA; includes Transmission Isolator PN 68264483AA, and Adaptation Bracket 68264479AA and Fastener Service Kit PN 68329056AA Vehicles built after on or after 10/23/2015 will require only the Fastener Service Kit PN 68329056AA. 2. All 3.6L/62TE equipped vehicles. If the vehicle you are repairing has a crack in the flex plate or failed pump bushing inspect and confirm that both (2) dowel pins are present in the engine block, which align the transmission center line to the crank shaft centerline and visually inspect the dowel alignment holes in the transmission case. If the holes are damaged or elongated the transmission should be replaced to prevent further damage to the transmission/flexplate or pump bushing due to the inability to properly align the engine to the transmission during the repair. 3. All 62TE equipped vehicles. If pump bushing is scored or damaged and the dowel pin alignment holes are ok, replace the pump assembly as opposed to complete transmission. 4. All 62TE equipped vehicles. If vehicle is jerking/slipping with MIL code(s) P0740 or P2764, check TCC Solenoid operation. If TCC Solenoid is ok, the codes are indicative of a torque converter failure. Replace the torque converter.

ADAPTER, Engine Oil Filter (Pentastar V6) All vehicles equipped with a 3.2L or 3.6L except for model year 2014 vehicles with leak concern: 1) Ensure the Oil Filter Adapter (OFA) Cap O-ring is seated in the proper groove in the cap and not damaged or cut. 2) If replacing the (OFA) due to a leak detected between (OFA) and block. Ensure the torque on the 5 bolts are torqued to 12nm. If not record the actual values, torque to 12nm and contact the FCA employees listed below. 3) Remove the (OFA) and replace the O-ring and gaskets only (Kit #68191356A$), NOT THE OFA. 4) If oil was drained, add oil dye to ensure the leak is repaired. For model year 2014 vehicles replace the Oil Filter Adaptor. 5) When replacing PN's 68310865A$ & 68308741A$, it may be necessary to transfer the Oil Temp/Pressure Sensor from the old OFA to the new OFA.

UJQ without RS9 Radio Enhancements This bulletin involves inspecting and if required, updating the radio software level to 22.5. Customers may experience one or more of the following: Arabic language is missing. Navigation inoperable. Bottom menu bar of the radio is non responsive or frozen. After viewing the weather map following a flood advisory popup, the main soft key's at the bottom of the screen may not respond when pressed. Radio will not turn off. Poor AM/FM Reception. Radio may reset, turn itself off and then back on again. Radio display screen lock up. Park assist chime will continue to chime after the vehicle is turned off. Uconnect Live feature may not function properly.

Air Suspension Components Star Parts Catalog has been updated to show individual service parts for the compressor assembly. This will allow service technicians to repair the root cause without over repairing the system. Replace only the part deemed failed by the diagnostics performed. Individual parts include: - Compressor - Valve block - Individual hoses - Temp sensor - Shield - Air line clips NOTE: in most situations when a new compressor is needed, the compressor as a separate part is the correct repair, and the assembly would not be required.

Transfer case seal, Transmission Output Seal If vehicle has a fluid leak between the transfer case and the transmission on an AWD vehicle and it has been determined that the transfer case is leaking from the vent hole, don't replace the input seal. The vehicle can be repaired by: Transfer Case replace - 68214750A$ 3.6 Pentastar 68214751A$ 5.7 Hemi Replace Front Case Half - 68101734A$ 3.6 Pentastar 68101734A$ 5.7 Hemi Note: The transfer case oil already has dye in it so leak confirmation with a black light can be achieved.
