Due to the industry-wide semiconductor shortage, the front driver and passenger seat cushion ventilation blowers are not functional on certain 2022-2023 model year vehicles listed above, built beginning March 30, 2022. The affected vehicle owners should have been made aware of the condition at sale, and notified that once parts are available, they would be eligible for a no additional cost retrofit to enable the feature. Dealers are to replace the non-functional seat cushion ventilation blower with a functional one. Note: Some vehicles may also require the Heated/Ventilated Seat retrofit which must be performed prior to completing this procedure. Use IVH to verify if the vehicle is involved in the Heated/Ventilated Seats Retrofit (N212354520 or N212354522).

General Motors has decided to conduct a voluntary emissions recall involving certain vehicles, equipped with a diesel engine. The Engine Control Module (ECM) may not properly detect faults, set DTCs or illuminate the Malfunction Indicator Light (Check Engine Light) if these fault conditions occur: â¢Charge Air Cooler (CAC) low efficiency (DTC P026A) â¢Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) cooler low efficiency (DTC P2457) â¢NOx sensor position 1 slow response (DTC P22F9) Dealers are to reprogram the Engine Control Module (ECM) with corrected software.

Due to a current backorder situation and inclement weather affecting a large portion of the nation, vehicles in dealer inventory will be temporarily suspended in Investigate Vehicle History (IVH). IVH will be manually changed from an âOpenâ status to a âClosedâ status. The detail screen in IVH will indicate that the IVH status will reopen on January 4th. Impacted vehicles without an Open field action may be delivered to the customer after signing the acknowledgement form. Please hold all claims for VINs that were manually closed until January 4th. Customer appointments should not be scheduled until parts are received.
