N182199610 - Customer Satisfaction Program. Certain vehicles may have a condition in which the high-pressure fuel pump may crack and potentially leak fuel. This may occur over time with vehicle usage. If a fuel leak occurs, the customer may notice an odor. If the fuel leak is unaddressed, the vehicle may fail to start, exhibit reduced engine power, or lose propulsion. This will display a message on the Driver Instrument Cluster and illuminate the Check Engine Light. Dealers will replace the high-pressure fuel pump and insulator.

Certain 2019 model year Chevrolet Equinox vehicles may have multiple incomplete welds that join the shock tower to the shock tower skirt on the driver's side front wheelhouse assembly. Symptoms of the condition may not be noticeable to the customer, but following a severe pothole event, the customer may experience reduced vehicle control and handling performance. In addition, if the condition is not corrected, the involved parts may degrade over time resulting in reduced long-term durability. Repair driver's side front wheelhouse welds and refinish.

Technician may find Diagnostic Trouble Codes B3055, B3060, and/or B3935. Technician should not replace any parts for this concern. This Preliminary Information communicates to the technician that some customers may comment on the operation of their haptic seat during a Lane Keep Assist event. Lane Keep Assist works differently than Lane Departure Warning. The Lane Keep Assist icon is solid amber, Forward Camera Module is actively commanding a torque to Electronic Power Steering. This means that the driver should also feel some feedback from the steering wheel. No Chimes or haptic in the seat. Lane Keep Assist icon is flashing amber; Forward Camera Module is actively commanding torque to Electronic Power Steering. This will also be accompanied with Lane Departure Warning chimes and haptic in the seat feedback based on the setting chosen in the vehicle settings. This will take place when the vehicle has crossed lane marking by (40 cm) or (15.75 in).

18296 - Service Update - Left front tie rod jam nut may be below torque specification, (75 +/- 15 Nm). Because the jam nut may be below torque spec, it could loosen and result in wheel alignment (toe) changing while driving. Drivers may notice a squeak noise when turning or hitting bumps, a loose feeling in the steering, or shaking in the steering wheel on bumps. In extreme cases the tie rod end could become disconnected, resulting in a loss of steering control. Perform toe adjustment and secure all fasteners to correct torque.

18277 - Customer Satisfaction Program - Certain vehicles equipped with RPO MNH (6 Speed Automatic Transmission) may have been built without a transmission case assembly cup plug. As a result, lubrication flow within the transmission may be compromised, and the transmission will wear prematurely. The customer may notice noise coming from the transmission area, or rough or irregular shifting. If the customer continues to drive the vehicle for an extended period after noticing these signs of wear, transmission failure may occur, resulting in a loss of propulsion. Replace Transmission.

Technician may find Diagnostic Trouble Codes P0087, P0088, P0191 and P128E during the inspection. If during the inspection of the fuel system contamination is found the complete fuel system will need to be cleaned and flushed. After the fuel system is cleaned out test the fuel using the latest version of PIT3173.
