This Preliminary Information communication provides information to the technician about vibration complaints that are one of the most challenging complaints to accurately diagnose and repair. Technician will need to use Pico Oscilloscope Diagnostic Kit to effectively diagnosis vehicles. Technician should drive the vehicle will using the Pico Oscilloscope to record data. After the data is recorded it should be reviewed to determine the root cause of the concern. If a repair attempt made the concern better but not eliminated or had no affect at all, and are requesting assistance from General Motors Technical Assistance Center record another Pico file and save it to the computer. After the new Pico Oscilloscope data has been saved email the data to General Motors Technical Assistance Center in the subject line include ?Vibration? ?Business Associate Code? and the last 8 of the Vehicle Identification Number.

N192265370 - Customer Satisfaction Program. Certain vehicles may accumulate water in the rear compartment battery tub. This could occur from leaving a deck lid open in inclement weather, ice chest spillage, or water leak. Water intrusion into the DC/DC converter, which is located in the battery tub, could damage it. This corrective action will provide an exit path for water which entered the battery tub.Dealers are to install two drains in the battery tub to prevent accumulation of water.

N192210240 - Special Coverage Adjustment - Certain vehicles shown above, may have a condition that could cause the evaporative emissions purge valve to not fully close. If this condition occurs, the engine could run rough, hesitate or stall at idle speeds. Additionally, the Malfunction Indicator Light (Check Engine Light) would illuminate and a diagnostic trouble code would be set. This special coverage covers the condition described above for a period of 10 years or 150,000 miles (240,000 km) for Acadia, Cascada, Enclave, Traverse, vehicles or 10 years or 120,000 miles (193,000 km) for Caprice, Cruze, Encore, Impala, LaCrosse, Sonic and Trax vehicles, whichever occurs first, from the date the vehicle was originally placed in service, regardless of ownership. Dealers are to replace the evaporative emissions purge valve as necessary. The repairs will be made at no charge to the customer.

N192210230 - Special Coverage - Some 2015-2016 Chevrolet Cruze and 2015 Chevrolet Sonic vehicles equipped with a 1.4L engine may have a condition where cracks can develop in the diaphragm of the Positive Crankcase Ventilation (PCV) pressure regulator valve. This valve is a part of the engine camshaft cover. If this were to occur, excess air could be drawn into the engine intake. As a result, the engine may run rough, especially during idle, the Malfunction Indicator Light (Check Engine Light) would illuminate and a diagnostic trouble code for Fuel Trim Lean (P0171) or other airflow related DTC would set. Dealers are to replace the engine camshaft cover as necessary. The repairs will be made at no charge to the customer.
