Customer Satisfaction Program - certain vehicles may have a window label with the truckâs fuel economy understated due to a printing error. The corrected labelâs shown below lists the vehicleâs actual fuel economy which is significantly better. Corrected fuel economy labels are being mailed to customers of record. Dealers are to print the fuel economy label and place it in the ownerâs glovebox. For vehicles in dealer inventory or if you have a customer that has lost, ripped or destroyed a label and needs to replace it, dealers are to print the fuel economy label below and place it in the ownerâs glovebox.

Due to a current backorder situation and inclement weather affecting a large portion of the nation, vehicles in dealer inventory will be temporarily suspended in Investigate Vehicle History (IVH). IVH will be manually changed from an âOpenâ status to a âClosedâ status. The detail screen in IVH will indicate that the IVH status will reopen on January 4th. Impacted vehicles without an Open field action may be delivered to the customer after signing the acknowledgement form. Please hold all claims for VINs that were manually closed until January 4th. Customer appointments should not be scheduled until parts are received.

This Preliminary information communicates concerns created by an aftermarket ECM calibration installed by fleet companies. The Fleet companies install aftermarket ECM calibrations to limit the vehicle speed to approximately 70 mph and reduce the over all power output. This calibration also reduces the engine idle speed and may induce a vibration at idle. If the vehicle needs to be returned to factory specifications, the ECM must be replaced and programmed.

This Preliminary Information communication provides information to the technician about vehicles that may have a delayed engagement into drive, shudder at a launch, or the transmission is slipping when shifting into 1st, 2nd, 3rd or 4th gears. This may be due to loose stator support to pump cover bolts causing a leak at the stator support to pump cover gasket. Technician will check for the bolts to be loose. If any of the bolts are loose or the gasket is misaligned or leaking, the transmission pump cover must be replaced and the 1234 clutch plates should be inspected for being distressed and repaired as needed.
