This Preliminary Information communication advises the technician of a customer concern where the heated seat indicator light is not functioning or the heated seats are not up to operating temperature during a remote vehicle start event. Technician is to communicate to the customer this condition is a normal operating characteristic of their vehicle. It will not impact the designed performance or reliability of the vehicle.
